1 out of 5 stars Insufficient blender   March 8, 2010
Grandmom
Got this babycook as a family gift and am very disappointed. The steamer works well, although the reports about the steaming well developing odor are scary. The blender works for about a half second until it spins freely, all the food stuck below it, not processed to where I can feed it to the baby. Maybe I'm not getting this right? I am following the instructions from the cookbook (small portions). So the rest has to be mashed with a fork and then there is still cleaning to do. I don't see how this is easier/faster than a proper blender...

5 out of 5 stars Excellent Product!   March 6, 2010

This food maker is the best! I hate to cook and I use it almost every day to cook food for my 9 month old baby. You can cook a lot of different foods in no time!

5 out of 5 stars perfect babyfood maker   February 27, 2010

I received this as a gift from my mother-in-law and it is one of the best inventions ever. I wish all moms can own this babyfood maker becuase it is the easiest thing in the world. If more moms can see how easy it is to make fresh homemade babyfood, then less moms would resort to purchasing expensive jarred babyfood. Although Beaba products are expensive in general, the quality speaks for itself. Also, the babyfood maker will no doubt pay for itself with the $$ money saved from purchasing expensive jarred babyfood.

5 out of 5 stars WORTH IT!!!   February 19, 2010

This is the best thing I have ever spent money on. Period. I have been using it for nine months, and have never had one problem... Works sooooo fast and is sooo easy through the whole proccess... steam, puree, freeze. I just use ice cube trays and freeze them, then pop them out into zip locks with the food name and date. This will be the best money you can spend if you really want to make your own baby food! I also use the purees in my 5 year olds meal because I can't get him to eat veggies... works great!!

5 out of 5 stars love this item   February 18, 2010
Nobby (Pennsylvania)
I purchased this item primarily to make my own babyfood combinations that were not available in the stores. I just made some stage 1 carrots and peas to get the hang of it. It was sooo easy! I made two trays of food for less than 2 dollars, and my daughter loves the food. I used frozen veggies. The time used was minimal. I believe it took me 20 for each vegetable! I can't wait to try the frozen mango and peaches. I think I will be making the majority of her babyfood now!
The only thing I wish was different would be that I could turn the mixer part on and be able to leave it for a few moments, instead of having to constantly hold it.
